Spring Break

It's Spring Break time for the local schools.  Though as homeschoolers (or life schoolers as I like to call us) we don't follow the same schedule,  I decided we "need" a little break, too.... 

So, in honor of Spring and taking a much needed Break we are going to have fun this week doing some Spring Sprucing up.... if I call it Spring Cleaning it won't seem like as much fun ;) . 

I think we'll make a wreath for the front door and pot up some new spring things for the front porch, too.

  This afternoon we are going for a nature walk and hunt for more signs of spring.  Last week we say fern fronds unfurling- say that fast! 

 I think we'll bring in a little bit of Spring with some fresh flowers and a new potted plant or two also. 

We are planning to bake cookies and go introduce ourselves to the new neighbors also.  I'll put the cookies in a pretty basket with some spring theme ribbon.

 How about a picnic in the park or a tea party on the porch as a  break from the normal eating routine???

We do a spruce up too :) More in preparation for planting time. Once May1 approx, rolls around, we are hardly in the house. To eat and sleep mainly. So we do our regular clean, keep or throw.
I hope you can get everythign done you want to! And have fun doing it...or try to anways.

We are finally getting back into the swing of things from Christmas break, LOL! So we will probably wait until close to Passover and Easter to take ours! Dont have any plans yet, except to have a Passover Sedar to go along with our Old Testament history studies.
