New Toy

My husband bought me a new "toy" for the kitchen.  A grain mill- yea!  So now I get to experiment with different grains.... Anyone have a favorite mixture??? 

Oh yucky.....my oldest dd just yelled from the kitchen that there was a silverfish in her milk......ooohhh ick.  OK, if you don't have those things where you live (Tara)... they're little silver bugs that resemble fish.  They like to get in your flour.....oh NOT in my bag of wheat..............I HATE BUGS!!!

ooh, how exciting...what kind of grain mill did you get? I love mine (a Nutrimill).

yuck on the silverfish. I had never seen them until I moved to PA. I have seen them on my walls and in my shower (rinse them right down the drain) but never my flour! (Thankfully)

Very great that you have a grain mill .... how fun and how useful!

We even have silverfish in Minnesota and I even saw some in South Dakota ... but only in the carpet or in corners ... They must breed strong, quick ones to get into your flour and milk!
