It is that time you know……Spring Cleaning Time!
Do you scrub, clean, renew, and refresh things in your home this time of year?
I know I am always ready for Spring; and enjoy washing the curtains, cleaning the windows and carpets, and adding some fresh Springtime touches around the home.
How about in your “spiritual home”, your heart?
For my own self this season, I’ve felt the need to do some Spring Cleaning there, too.
Time to clean up negative attitudes and thoughts. Time to wipe the dust and dirt that has accumulated on my heart away, so that others can look inside and see a true reflection of Jesus living there.
It’s also time to add some new things to make my heart more lovely. Just as I bring in fresh flowers and pretty things to make my home more appealing; I am focusing on adding Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control- the lovely Fruit of the Spirit to my spiritual home.
