Thoughts for Thursday....

OK, I'm STILL working on getting everything organized around here.  Still just one room left- one very full, cluttered, messy room...... I MUST conquer the mess today, before it makes me nutso!  Hmmm.... might be too late for that anyway. 

 The rest of the apartment is looking pretty cozy, I do believe; and if my husband's friend gets my computer updated this coming week, I'll post you a picture or two. 

I made my first batch of yogurt in my new Yogotherm  yogurt maker yesterday.  Too cool.  It worked really well.  I like it because it's non-electric (is that even a word?).   I was a bit skeptical about the $35.00 I paid for it when I took it out of the box- but, it worked great and I now have 2 quarts of yummy yogurt.  I purchased it from here:  www.cheesemaking.com    .  I also got some starter culture for Fromage Blanc ..... so, that's on my to-do list for this morning.  Carl put a hook over the sink for the cheese to hang on.  Yea! 

 I still haven't made the Mozzarella- I've been waiting for the right time, and it's just not happenin' right now. 

Next on my Want List is a grain mill.  Anyone have one they absolutely LOVE (or hate)???  Both kinds of info. would be most helpful!

I have a Corona hand crank grain mill that I just love! I lucked out and got mine at a yard sale for $5 in it's original box. It's awesome, though it did take some getting used to and wasn't easy in the beginning, it has been worth all the effort and arm muscle building.
