Almost Ready to Move!

We finally got the keys to our new "homestead" yesterday. 

 I do believe I've signed my life away, and possibly given up rights to my first-born to the government(just kidding), but we have an apartment.  I've never seen so many little x___________ to sign! 

 At any rate, this is to be our "home sweet homestead apartment" for at least 1 year.  The girls are so excited about moving!  I'll be excited when this house is empty, clean and ready for the next person to live in it. 

Today I finish packing up the kitchen, bath, and girls room and we're ready to go.  Tomorrow the girls and I will begin by cleaning the apartment before we start moving.  Yes, it "looks" clean, but we always wipe everything down just to be sure!  Then, we'll start hauling the things that are easier NOT to box- clothes and other odd shaped or bulky stuff.  I'm hoping and praying that my dining room table is going to fit in our "cozy" little eating area.  Carl says it will, but it's going to be a close fit.  He just bought it for me last year and I'd really hate to part with it. 

OK, I'm going to have a cup of Red Raspberry Leaf tea with just a bit of raw honey, then time to pack up the china!

So happy for y'all in your new move--here's to hopes for a smooth move. I know all about those boxes n non-boxes, we just moved this October past. Be sure n let us know how the move goes and blessings for settling in!
