Doesn't that just sound "Fallish" to you?  A sweet friend sent me a little treat- Mary Emmerling's American Country Gardens, along with a packet of Bachelor's Button seeds and some delicious tea.  I'm so blessed with good friends in the Lord!  The book is a cute little thing filled with gorgeous garden photos and quotes- 2 of my favorite things.  Guess what the gardener will be doing on this rainy autumn afternoon !  I'll tuck the seeds away to plant next spring.  How fun to have special plants grown from seeds shared by friends all over the country. 

I am indeed blessed beyond measure! 

How are your gardens growing???  I'm attempting to grow spinach now- you've read about that e-coli junk, right?  I planted a nice big bowlful.  Unfortunately, the squirrels and a little tyke seem to enjoy digging holes in the soil.....perhaps they think they're gardening, too ?  Sure wish they'd get their own pot- now there's an idea, one pot of dirt for the kiddo, one for the squirrel and a wire cover for mine......huh imagine that .
