Hmmmm.....I think this quote is for me today.  I really do think a good laugh is in order.  Besides, I look ugly after I cry, red swollen eyes, and a runny nose just isn't attractive.   

Frustration is very much present here today.  No exhaustion, though by the end of the evening, I may have that, too.  It seems my little darling girlies (who have long, thick hair) caught lice from somewhere.  ICKY!!!!!  We spend last night treating little heads (including my not so little one) with a natural remedy I found online:

2 oz. Olive oil

20 drops tea tree oil

10 drops rosemary oil

10 drops lavender oil

10 drops lemon oil

Mix together, apply to dry hair, cover with shower cap,  leave on for 1 to 2 hours, shampoo and rinse. 

We also used a vinegar rinse and then blow dried their hair.  I've spent much of today re-combing through everyone's hair with those little combs, and vacuuming the apartment top to bottom.  Tonight I get to take all the linens, pillows, clothes, etc. to the laundromat.  Joy. 

Sorry if this post makes you itchy .  I've been itching like crazy since yesterday, even though I don't seem to have any bugs.

OK, I really could use a laugh, someone tell me something funny!  Please!!!

I just have to say I'M GLAD I'M NOT YOU! We have somehow managed to avoid the lice thing over the years. You asked for something funny.......the other day I read a couple of entries written by "Musketman" that had me rolling. I started with one called "Come on school" and then followed it with "All the weird things happen to me". It's an encounter with a bat. I laughed hysterically.

Oh, my goodness. Been there done that and been there again. I HATE lice.
Here's what we do- they have this wonderful lice comb called a Robi-comb it is expensive ($25) but it's electronic and actually electrocutes those nasty lice! It is very handy and I highly recommend it. Your herbal remedy should work and here's a link to a site that helped me greatly www.nolice.blogspot.com.
I have the Supermom spray and I swear by it. Marmee from Marmee's Kitchen also sells it on her site marmeedear.com so I know it's as good as I think it is!
