Let's imagine you have all the money and transportation you need, and farm and garden is tended and no worries- now you have a week to go and vacation.  Expense is not an issue, but it has to be somewhere within a day's drive from your home.  Where would you go and what would you do?

Hmmm.....first, I would drive through the hill country and stop at all the little "touristy" towns and browse in the antique shops and stop at all the nurseries to check out their herbs and flowers.  Then, I would make my way to the Tx coast and spend some time swimming and walking on the beach.  Perhaps rent a little beach house and spend the early mornings walking and collecting shells, the afternoons reading in a hammock under a tree and swimming, the evenings stargazing with my sweetie!
