I'm happy to see you are doing this and promoting it on your website! Our Church does it every year and other churches in our area too. My shoe box is sitting on the kitchen table right now and will be taken to church tomorrow. Something I learned this year: the group least likely to get a box is the age 10-14 (especially boys) but this is the group that has more salvation experiences than any other age bracket. Also, many times a child will be allowed to go to school if he only has school supplies.
