Gingerbread Pancakes with Whipped Cream
Yield: 6 pancakes
- 1 cup flour
- 1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- Dash of cloves
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
Whipping Cream
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 1 tablespoons sugar
Mix all dry ingredients in bowl. In smaller bowl, mix all other ingredients. Combine until smooth. Pour 1/3 cup of batter on hot griddle. Turn once. Serve with maple syrup and whipped cream.
For whipped cream, mix whipping cream with sugar and beat until fluffy.
