I have read a few blogs where people are complaining about the time change. I personally love the extra daylight. I don't see what the big deal is. I guess if people want to be discontent they will find a way!

I woke up early this morning, around 5:30am and couldn't get back to sleep. I laid in bed for awhile and then decided to get up at 6:15. I made coffee, a bowl of oatmeal and watched it get light out. It is foggy this morning, a sign of summer! It was warm and sunny yesterday, so beautiful! I'm hoping the fog will clear soon.

Yesterday I bought a couple small metal filing cabinets at Target, I started organizing and working on the master bedroom closet yesterday, I need to finish that up today. My husband is a self-employed contractor so we have a lot of paperwork to keep track of. I remember always playing 'office' when I was a kid, it is not nearly so much fun now, but I am thankful because if there are papers that means he is getting work!

When we where shopping yesterday I also purchased a new comforter for our bed. Our old one was well used and was starting to fall apart. I am going to try and not use it for a blanket so it lasts longer. It is a patchwork of satin, tapestry and velvet, in shades of brown. I like it, and so did my husband. I made sure he approved since it is his bedroom too. :)

Well, today we need to get some school work done, we have been slacking, especially my 17 year old. He needs to start studying for a basic skills test. He is graduating this year! He is going to be 18 next month! I just can't believe it! Time goes by so fast.

I should get off the computer now and get busy with my chores. I hope everyone has an awesome and productive day!
