Aprons – Y/N? If Y, what does your favorite look like?

Yes, I always try to remember to put it on, because I ALWAYS get stuff on my clothes.  I have 2, one from IKEA, and my favorite is a black one with red and orange chili peppers on it.

 

Baking – Favorite thing to bake

No

 

Donuts – Have you ever made them?

I have made donut holes.

 

Every day – One homemaking thing you do every day

Wash dishes.

 

Freezer – Do you have a separate deep freeze?

Yes, and we use it a lot!

 

Garbage Disposal – Y/N?

No, we have a septic tank.

 

Handbook – What is your favorite homemaking resource?

The internet and Titus2 meetings

 

Ironing – Love it or hate it? Or hate it but love the results?

Hate it, I NEVER iron.

 

Junk drawer – Y/N? Where is it?

Well, yes and no.  There is a drawer in the kitchen that is slowly becoming an unwanted junk drawer.  I should get the junk out of it today!  One of my utensil drawers looks like a junk drawer, I should organize it too.

 

Kitchen – Color and decorating scheme

light Maple cabinets, black granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, multi color (warm colors) glass tile backsplash, walls are deep orange and yellow, floors are vinyl that looks like slate.

 

Love – What is your favorite part of homemaking?

Being at home (usually), making my home a beautiful, yet comfortable and inviting place for family and friends.

 

Mop – Y/N?

When I have to.

 

Nylons – Wash by hand or in the washing machine?

Nylons?!  It has been at least 13 years since I have worn nylons.

 

Oven – Do you use the window or open the oven to check?

Both!

 

Pizza – What do you put on yours?

My favorite is pepperoni, pineapple, onion, and extra cheese.

 

Quiet – What do you do during the day when you get a quiet moment?

Sit and stare.

 

Recipe card box – Y/N? What does it look like?

Yes, it is actually an index card holder, it is plastic and very ugly shade of beige.  I also have a recipe folder.  My goal is to make a family cookbook, with all my favorite recipes.

 

Style of house – What style is your house?

Ranch?

 

Tablecloths and napkins – Y/N?

I hardly ever use tablecloths and we use paper napkins.

 

Under the kitchen sink – Organized or toxic wasteland?

Since we remodeled the kitchen very recently it is not a wasteland, and I also organized it about a week ago.  When we remodeled I considered closing up that area all together, because it gets so funky and it creeps me out! 

 

Vacuum – How many times per week?

3 -4 times

 

Wash – How many loads of laundry do you do per week?

Lately, since I have a new laundry room and a new washer, I have been doing at least a load a day!

 

X’s – Do you keep a daily list of things to do that you cross off?

No, but I keep a calendar that lists places and activities we do, otherwise I would forget everything!

 

Yard – Y/N? Who does what?

My DH or DS mow, we all do clean-up.

 

Zzz’s – What is your last homemaking task for the day before going to bed?

Always something different, sometimes carrying stray cups and dishes to the sink, putting pillows back on the sofa, picking up a toy or two, getting the coffee pot ready, putting away leftovers from dinner.
