Christmas Traditions!

1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate?  Egg Nog

2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? All the presents are wrapped (Santa brings the stocking stuff)

3. Colored lights on tree/house or white?  White on the tree, green on the house

4. Do you hang mistletoe?  Sometimes

5. When do you put your decorations up? Lighted garland sometimes goes up before Thanksgiving, everything else the weekend after Thanksgiving

6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)?  Praline sweet potatoes

7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child:  One Christmas Eve I was about 4, someone knocked on the front door and my mom said, "It's Santa! He is going to see that you're still awake!"  I flew to my room, which was hard because I had on roller skates for some reason (the old kind you used to put on over your shoes).  I was SO SCARED that Santa wasn't going to leave me anything!  I never thought about how weird it was that Santa knocked on the door! 

8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? I don't know.

9. Do you open gifts on Christmas Eve?  The kids are allowed to open one

10. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree?  I either decorate with white lights and red and gold ornaments, or white lights and silver ornaments.

11. Snow: Love it or Dread it?  Love it!!!  I love it if I am warm, and don't have to drive in it

12. Can you ice skate? No way

13. Do you remember your favorite gift?  I have many favorites!  Two I loved from my hubby are a diamond ring, and a Dyson vacuum!

14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you?  Celebrating with friends and family

15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? English Toffee, Fudge

16. What is your favorite holiday tradition?  Going to our friends in the evening for their open house

17. What tops your tree?  A star

18. Which do you prefer giving or receiving?  Both!

19. What is your favorite Christmas Song?  Oh so many!  Sleigh Ride, Do You Hear What I Here?

20. Candy Canes! Yuck or Yum?  I love looking at them, but not really eating them
