Titus2, What a blessing!

There is nothing better than hearing wisdom from mature Christian women who don't hide behind a self-righteous attitude. I always come away with such wonderful Godly advice!

These women are who they are, faults and all. Women who know they are saved by grace. They know they are not saved by works, which version of the Bible they read, which holidays they celebrate, which denomination they attend, or who they associate with, etc... (I could go on and on!) We are all sinners, none are righteous! What a true and honest life! What a joy it is to be around them! They are truely living by God's Word!

I have to remind myself day after day to have God's grace too. That is how I want to live. I want to be a blessing to those around me, full of encouragement, not condemnation! God, give me that kind of love!

I know why Jesus had such a problem with the Pharisees! What a sad and miserable life, trying to measure up to the immeasurable, and pointing out where everyone else is lacking, what a shame.

We all sin, but we are made righhteous through Christ Jesus! We are the righteousness of God becasue of what JESUS did, not what we do.

So, if my kids dress up on Halloween, or we decorate a Christams tree, or have an Easter basket of candy...or choose not to, our righteousness is not more or less...it's the same becasue Jesus is the same, yesterday, today and forever.

Such a relief! LOL
