Our Weekend

Well, it seems our wet weather has set in.  My husband got all the siding on the new addition just in time.  Hopefully we will get a break in the weather long enough to paint.  We are anxious to get started on the inside!  I am still hoping it will be done by Christmas, but I have a feeling it will be more like February.  That's OK though.

Today I am going to a Titus2 meeting, I always look forward to them.  We are going to make wheat sheaves and some pie and cranberry jelly I think.  How fun!  I made some pumpkin bread with some orange cream cheese spread to share for lunch.  Since it's raining the kids will be inside so I need to bring some things that will hold their attention for a while.

Tonight is our homeschool groups Thanksgiving Celebration.  Everyone brings some finger food to share and all the kids perform a talent for our enjoyment.  My 10 year old son is playing a duet with his piano teacher (a 15 year old home school girl).  He is excited.  My oldest played his guitar last year, but this year he says he doesn't want to.  I won't force him I guess.

Tomorrow my two youngest have a jujitsu tournament.  They have two a year.  It's an all day event, and Sensei has asked me to help with tallying up scores :(  I don't really want to, but he said I have to. (In his 'Please, you're my only hope!' kind of way.)  Oh well.  I don't get to help people out that often, so I try to remember I need take the opportunity when it comes up.  The hard part is having a good attitude about it!  I will try.

Well, I had better go jump in the shower and get the house tidied up before I leave.  Have a great day everyone!

You help ME all the time! LOL

I often feel frustrated that you don't need help (Not that I want you to be in need, of course) because I rearely have a chance to do anything for you.

I was so excited when you asked me to pick up payroll last month! LOL

See you soon,.

Patti
