Well, we have started on the foundation for our home addition. The concrete is going to be poured on Saturday.

I have started on my weight loss journey and I am already 8 lbs lighter!

I WILL DO THIS!

My friend Patti and I made homemade chili sauce, it was WONDERFUL! The recipe is posted on her blog http://www.homesteadblogger.com/CollinsCountry/

Today her and I are going to visit a friends garden to be inspired!

I am hoping to get my raised beds put in this week. Then maybe I'll still have time to plant some lettuce, spinach and broccoli. I am also going to stop by the strawberry farm today and can some jam tomorrow!

My oldest son went to Boy Scout summer camp and has finished fulfilling all his requirements for earning his Life rank in scouts!

Today he is going to a friends to 'jam' on guitar.

My two little boys are anxious for swimming lessons to start again, they are both doing well in jujitsu and both getting close to rank advancements.

We haven't been doing any school work, so we'll be easing that back into our daily schedule starting next week.

We have been enjoying the summer weather, it has been sunny everyday, the fog usually burns off by 9:00am.

Hubby is working hard as usual, now even harder since we have started on the addition. I told him if it gets to bad to hire some help!!!

He is excited about working on the addition though, that kind of stuff is 'fun' for him. Go figure.

I am just the opposite! Although when I start to loose more weight, I will probably have a lot more energy and everything won't seem like such a chore!
