Thankful

The sun is out this morning, thank goodness, it was a bit dreary yesterday until around 5:00pm!
Yesterday I finished my dinner menu planning for the next week, so today is big grocery shopping day.  I drive about  25 miles north to the cheaper grocery store.  I am supposed to go every week, but I get lazy.  I don't really look forward to big grocery shopping.  There was a time when I did,  especially when we were young and poor, and payday was a big deal, it meant we had food in our fridge!
I guess I need to gain a new perspective and be thankful that I can go big grocery shopping!!!  Thank you Lord for providing for us!

We went grocery shopping yesterday and I've lacked in getting a menu ready for the next couple of weeks. That's something I never think of when going shopping. I know if I did that then it would save us!!
Enjoy your shopping! :)

Talk about perspective. I was complaining about the tight budget (you know, $45.00 per week). There is one very nice thing about that...I don't dread shopping...it's actually fun again!

1. The cart is never too heavy to push (you know how you have to throw your weight into it when you turn?).

2. It takes about half the time it used to (YAY!).

3. It is so easy to put away:
A. Because there are less groceries
B. Because there is more room to store stuff!

Now we can say like the apostle Paul, "I know how to abase, and I know how to abound" (Paraphrase Patti Version)

Have a great day!

Patti
