The weather here has been so gorgeous! Sunny and warm, it just lifts my spirits!

Today the cabinet guy is coming to fix the last little things on the kitchen cabinets, then all that is left to be done is to clean the tile really good and paint the ceiling. The ceiling is a big chore since we have a great room, the living room, dining area and hall are also included. I would like to get it done by the 4th since we are having a lot of company, but I don't know if that will happen.

I am working on the deck now, I have pressured washed it, and tomorrow I am going to go buy the sealer. I told my husband this would be the kids and my project and he didn't need to worry about it. I feel good about helping him out!

I know what you mean about feeling good helping. When our husbands work so hard at such physically demanding jobs, it is a blessing to help them.

I really don't like painting, and I know Dave could get it all done waaay faster, but at least it is getting done and he doesn't have to worry about it. Now Luis can put the deck out of his mind and focus on other projects, thanks to you.
