Things have been a bit hectic around here.

My son's birthday party was great fun! The sun came out and stayed out the whole time! Thank you Lord! The kids played on the water slide until 6:00!

Despite not having my kitchen done, and not having a kitchen sink. I managed to make a bunch of food, with the help of my wonderful friend, Patti.

Who brought some very tasty food, and made some of the food I just didn't have time to make. She even washed dishes in my bath tub!!!

Now THAT'S a friend!!!

We are having a bit of trouble with our cabinet maker, he hasn't been doing his best, so my husband had to have a talk with him. I am not going to freak out. Everything is fixable, and he is just going to have to fix it! I hope to be getting my countertops and my kitchen sink put in in the next couple of days. My husband got my dishwasher working, so at least I don't have to do dishes in the tub anymore!

I also have my new stove installed. I LOVE it! Yesterday I roasted some peppers and heated tortillas over the gas flame, I really missed doing that!

My sister, her husband and two children are here visiting from Las Vegas until Friday. They are staying at a nice hotel (less stress for everyone). They spent the day here yesterday, it was nice to see her, it had been about 3 years. She has an 8 year old boy and a 4 year old girl. They are both really cute! Today we are supposed to go down to the beach, but it looks like it may be overcast all day. Well, we can still play and walk, just need to dress warmer.

We had a mini heat wave on Monday, it was close to 90 here!!! Now it is back down in the low 60's. We also have showers in the forecast for Friday through Wednesday! :( I thought the rain was done! Looking on the bright side, it will keep the grass greener longer. :)
