THE WORD OF GOD SERIES BY CANDY FOOTE
Free Hot Water Shower
Out back, behind some bushes, beside the well, stands our new
outside shower stall. Hmmm, what will the neighbors and family think
of this idea?!? My husband and kids built it out of free pallets and an
old tarp. They took a hose and coiled it up and placed it onto an old
black truck cab. Viola! Our new hot water shower.
I love it. What a way to keep 11 kids clean. Just think FREE hot water!
So, what do you think???

you are such a rebel! careful of DCFS - an outside shower stall - that is child abuse! or endangerment or psychologically dangerous or something....
is it sun-warmed or something? I have lived in upstate NY - it gets kinda cold - what'll you do come October? just curious. I think you are a cool, brave woman. You go girl!

Wonderful!! I love this idea. This is what my daughter needs to hose off the kids when they get out of the pool.
Many years ago we lived on a farm where the well went dry every summer. We had to haul water for the house from a spring about 8 miles away. We have very hot summers here in Texas . We would keep our water outside lined up on the porch and it would stay hot. I learned to bathe and wash my hair with a gallon of water. But we did carry it indoors to the bath room shower to use it!

How is this workign for you? I know it was posted a while ago. I am looking for ideas for a showerhouse for a rustic barn living space.
Thanks
Becky
