Spiders and Victoria Magazine
Spiders!
O.k., I know that they have benefits but, good grief, they have decided that fall is looming and they need to make residence in my home. Not cute little ones mind you...oh no....they are HUGE ones. Every morning I wake up to at least one dead one laying on the ground - compliments of my cat Max who like to play with them but not eat them.
I received a packaged of Victoria magazines I bought on Ebay yesterday! Oh how I miss that magazine and am so excited that they will be offering it again. The premier issue should be out next month - I can't wait. I took the pile outside with me and watched the kids play while I slowly looked at all the beautiful pictures. I have another magazine that I just love - it's called Country Homes and Interiors - British Edition. Love it and wish I could subscribe but I don't think the shipping would be very frugal, so I get it when I can at Borders.

I'm SO GLAD that you let me know that Victoria magazine is returning! Woooo Hoooo! I loved it, and can't wait to see it on the shelves again.
Oh, yes. We're getting the spiders too. Winter's a-coming.

They abound here too. Sure glad for the cooler weather her in MO! I love ordering books from Amazon. I ordered The Moccasin Speaks, a true story about 3 sisters being kept by Indians after the parents were killed. The author's sister-in-law was my 5th grade teacher; I really wanted it, so paid the $45 to get it - can't wait until it comes! Jill

I, too, am excited for the long awaited return of Victoria.
I grew up on this magazine and somewhere I think I still have the premier issue! I think I was probably the only sixth grade girl excited about a Victorian women's magazine!!
