Monday Musings...
Despite the fact that I had the stomach flu (again) this weekend, my Mother's day was full of blessings! I was able to get out long enough to go to church with my daughters (home for the night from college). Feels good to fill the pew with my family! And the biggest blessing for me was I noticed a definite change between my two youngest. For several years now they have not gotten along and it's worse when I'm around - they got along and were so mature this weekend! Can't decide if I should mention how wonderful it is or not mention it? I don't want to spoil it!
We stopped at the store on the way home to pick up some essentials since I wasn't able to shop on Saturday, then came home and made lunch. Well, my daughters made lunch and I sat around! LOL It was a beautiful day - too cool to sit in the sun but was so beautiful to look at.
I puttered around and watered the pots I planted a week ago and all the seedlings for my garden. My biggest regret is not planting the garden. Kind of a tradition to always (weather permitting) plant on Mother's Day weekend. I will do a bit here and there every evening this week as it needs to get planted SOON!
Today I'm off to the dentist for a consult on my tooth that I've been having trouble with - I'm one of those people who go into panic mode when I have to go to the dentist! Good grief...you'd think I'd be over it at my age! :-)

Hey, I don't know if you do this or not. But when there is the LEAST bit of yuck in the tummy around here then we take a dose of acidophilus it really helps to ward it off. I even give it to the kids, just sprinkle a little on their yogurt. Good stuff! Believe me we have had PLENTY of the bugs around here! Hope you feel better soon!

No, I've never tried it - I will definitely give it a try next time. This is the second time this year I've had it - just keeps going around!

Hope you are over the flu, too.
Regarding our weather--apparently it is quite common to have the ups and downs. Today, is supposed to be 80, tomorrow 57. Lows go anywhere from 50s to 30s. Well, live and learn. :-)
The two kids I still have at home are constantly bickering. But when they're separated they miss each other. I told 'em they were both gonna have a doozie of a marriage if they didn't get the sibling stuff worked out! They didn't appreciate it.

I'm glad that your Mother's Day was nice. Why have you decided not to plant a garden this year? I hope you continue to improve healthwise. Take some good probiotics, such as Udo's or Candex.
