The years really do fly by as we get older!  I just can't believe the summer is over and the kids are back to school.  I started my preschool program yesterday and the children really enjoyed it.  They love the lazy days of summer, yet they are so ready for a bit more structure (so am I!)!!

Over the long weekend we went camping with family.  What a great time we all had!  I think we had about 25ish family members and friends.  Lot's of food, card games, food, warm fires, food....did I mention food?  UGH, I think I gained 10 pounds in a single weekend! 

Today we will be working on cards for Grandparents Day.  I get tired of the card industry inventing new days to sell their cards...yet I do think Grandparents should be honored..so the children will make some!  And we'll get outside to enjoy the last few days of sunshine...I'm sure the rains are coming...I can almost feel it!

Although I love the summer holidays with the kids, we all like getting into routine again in September. We seem to get so much more done?!! Glad your kids are enjoying it too!

Hi there, how are you and great to see you back. It sounds like you have had a full summer :)

I am not sure if you are aware but I got married two months ago (wedding pics on my blog) and things have been okish but very up and down, hectic and tons of changes.
