On the Mend

Everybody seems to be getting back on their feet from the strep throat. I'm still feeling a little puny, but only because my allergies have decided that it's finally time to kick it into high gear. All the sneezing and the sinus drainage makes for a miserable time in my books, but this too shall pass.

The unpacking is going well. I'm learning to get very creative with my storage. And also learning to get rid of so much. Yesterday I got the family room all unpacked and today I will probably work on the kitchen some more.

I've been feeling a little overwhelmed with everything, but I'm slowly managing to wade through it all and get a few things done. One of the main things I would like to take care of is the clothing. We all have too much, and the clothes that I would like to save back for future children have no organization. Honestly I really don't have a clue as to where to begin, but I'm thinking probably a list of all the clothes we need will be a good start. And then go from there.

I'm working on a new routine for us as the days are getting warmer. I am trying to get all the busywork and cleaning done, so that in the afternoon we can do schoolwork when it's the hottest. That will work so much better, especially since we haven't got but one little a/c and hubby only wants us to run it when we absolutely have to, and only during the heat of the day.
