Four Days 'til Christmas!

What a day we had yesterday! I had lots of errands to run and then we had to go to my middle daughter's class party. I was hesitant to send her yesterday but she so wanted to go to the party and she was running no fever. When I got to the party, she was sitting there, just crying, her ear was hurting her so bad. After the party was over, we left and I took her out the ER. I tried to just schedule her an appointment, but that's like pulling teeth around here. I couldn't stand to see her in so much pain. When we got to the ER, the doctor looked in her ear, gave us an antibiotic and some tylenol with codiene and said she just had a regular ear infection. I went and got the prescriptions, went home, gave them to her and not 2-3 hours later, she was in even worse pain, screaming uncontrollably. So I called the ER again, and actually got to talk to her pediatrician, and she said that it sounds a lot worse than what the other doctor said, but that it wasn't probable that her ear drum had ruptured and gave me the go ahead to up her dose of tylenol and a few other things that would help her. What I did seemed to help and she slept well most of the night. I'm to take her back on Monday to see her doctor, if she hasn't made any major improvements. So please keep her in your prayers as you feel led to.

The rest of the day will be busy as usual. We have so many things to get done around here so that we're all ready for Christmas. I am getting off of here and will likely not be back on here until after Christmas sometime, so if I don't make it back on here, I wish you all the Merriest of Christmases! May the love of Christ fill your home as we celebrate His birth!

Oh my! I certainly hope your daughter gets to feeling better ASAP and is able to enjoy the holiday festivites. I am so sorry you had to take her to the Er and for her pain! I hope the tylenol is controlling the pain!
