Blessings From Home

6 Days 'til Christmas!

Yesterday seemed to be a whirlwind of excitement and coming and going. Something which I had not planned. I think we were home all of maybe 3 hours all day, so not much of what I aimed to do yesterday got done.

We still have not heard yet for sure if our application was accepted yet and if we're moving. I started feeling a bit apprehensive about it last night as I lay in bed. But I know that whatever happens is in the Lord's hands. I do love our home here, but we will never be able to save any money living here. And I know we will be able to save so much at least 200 dollars a month if we are to move to this smaller home. And honestly, after having such a large home, I actually do look forward to a smaller home....not so much to clean! So now we're just waiting to hear what's going to happen and to take the next step. A couple other pluses about this other house that I didn't mention yesterday was that it is exactly 1-1/2 blocks from our church, and 1-1/2 blocks from my best friend's house.  So I'll also save on gas, as I can walk to both places very easily. I'm glad it's Christmas time, and I have things to keep myself busy, because I'm the kind of person who likes to know what's going to happen. Because right now as it is, I don't know if after Christmas is over we have to start decluttering and packing or just decluttering.

Well, on to today....

We don't have any outside plans for today, which will be nice, but I have so many things to do at home. I'm not sure I even want to make a list. I think I'm just going to get up and get busy. So much to do and catch up on. I tend to work well under pressure though, so the closer we get to Christmas, the harder I work. Well, I'm off for now. I pray you are all blessed beyond all things!
