It's Crunch Time

Only 8 Days until Christmas!

Are you all ready for it? I am a procrastinator by nature and I'm proud to say that I'm a lot more ready now than I have been in years past. Some of the things that I've already gotten done...

~I've done all my grocery shopping for the next 2 weeks including Christmas dinner and all the goodies. I do, however need to make a quick trip on Thursday to get some milk and a few last minute things.

~I'm done with my Christmas shopping!  I finished this past Saturday. I've never been done with my Christmas shopping this early. I'm usually one of those people you see the weekend before trying to get it all done.

~All my Christmas decorations are up.

Now on to what I've yet to do. We will have 9 people here Christmas Eve and at least 12 people Christmas day, so I still have quite a lot of prepping to do. Here's my list...

~Do a once over throughout the house, picking up, dusting, and vacuuming.

~Get packages mailed. I only have 2 to be mailed and I will be having to mail them overnight because of my procrastination.

~Get all the goodies baked and made.

~Finish wrapping all the gifts.

~Finish up a couple of handmade gifts.

~Have fun with my kids!

Just for today, I need to...

~Wash all the towels and sheets  Actually, I still need to wash my sheets

~Clean the kitchen. This means getting all the dishes washed, wiping down all the surfaces, dusting, and vacuuming.

~Clean the front porch off. This means putting away all the "things" that get left there, and sweeping it off.

~Clean the bathroom. This means wiping everything down, dusting, and vacuuming.

~A short homeschool lesson with my son, and a fun Christmas activity with all the kids.

~Work on handmade gifts

~Wrap at least 2 gifts

~In the kitchen, bake 2 loaves of bread, make choc. chip cookies,  make cinnamon chex mix, make oatmeal mix

~For dinner, we're having split pea soup, and sandwiches.

That's all I can think of for now. I better get off of here and get busy. Have a blessed day!
