Low flush toilet

I'll admit the whole thing of doing things for the better of the environment is all new to me. I don't litter, or anything like that, I just mean, I've never done anything extra,  but I've been wanting to, I just don't know where to start. So the other day, I was sitting there watching playhouse disney with my kids, when this little short 5 minute show came on with this little girl and she was interviewing an enviromentalist type person. And one of the things I saw on there that she suggested for families who don't have low flush toilets that use a lot less water is to take a bottle, like a 20 oz soda or water bottle, and fill it with water and then put it in your toilet tank. It fills up the space in your toilet tank and uses a lot less water to flush. Not a bad idea! I'm going to give it a try!
