Productive Day and Busy Weekend

Today turned out to be a fairly productive day! I didn't do a whole lot, but I got a lot of things done that had been bothering me. I worked for an hour and half in the worst room in my house which is my sewing/ storage room. I made a big dent in there. I also cleaned off my number one hotspot, my dining room table. We did a quick pick up at the end of the day. And I loaded the dishwasher and washed up the hand washables. I made a good healthy dinner with our favorite legume...lentils, we had lentil stew, very yummy and very easy to make.

We got a call from hubby's sister saying she needed a sitter last minute for the whole weekend! I was pretty upset, but have since calmed down and got over it. We didn't really have anything planned. We just really wanted to get some things done around the house and to go work on the rent house for a few  hours. Which, we can actually still do, it's just a lot harder with those girls here. They seem to bring chaos in the door with them. With the weather being as nice as it has been, maybe I can keep them outside most of the day.

I have a lot I want to get done this weekend. Some of the things on my list for this weekend are:

~Clean out the van

~Work on laundry

~Work on sorting all the kid's clothes...winter, summer, outgrown, etc.

~Spend some more time in my sewing/storage room

~Prepare our lessons for school for next week

~Make some muffins and cookies

~Do some general cleaning and picking up in all rooms of our house

~Do some serious work on my home management binder

~Spend some time outside working on the shed and cleaning up my tomato pots and winterizing my strawberry plant.

~Spend a couple hours cleaning up the rent house and set off bug bomb for the weekend.

~Work on christmas projects

~Work on sewing for family

~Work on organizing pictures and putting them into albums

~Clean fish tank

I don't know that I'll get all this stuff done, but I know these are some things I would really like to accomplish. I will come back and check these things off as I get them done. I pray your weekend is blessed beyond measure.
