Friday~Remainder of Weekly Cleaning

~Today I woke up at 5:15am. Woke my husband up and helped him get out the door and then I lay in bed for a while thinking and praying. What was I thinking about you may ask, well, I was thinking about how much things are changing right now and I was also thinking about what I needed to do to be able to start homeschool with my son next week, and praying God's will for our lives and praising Him for all the blessings He's bestowed upon me. Then I got up, got my kids breakfast fixed, got them up and got my daughter ready for school. My son got dressed too, but was so excited that he didn't have to face that school again. After Maddy was on the bus to school, I did some of my daily chores for today, cleaned up the kitchen, and did a bit of laundry. Then I sat down and typed up a letter of intent to my son's school.

~At 11am we fixed daddy's lunch, and had it ready for him when he walked in the door. While he was here, I decided to go ahead and run the letter to the school and withdraw Nicholas. I was so stressed walking over there, but amazingly, after it was all said and done, I felt such a sense of peace as I was walking back home. Isn't it amazing how God works? As soon as hubby left, I loaded up the kids and we went by my mom's to pick up the new crate they just bought for us to use for our puppy. Then we headed for the store...again. I hate going more than once a week, but I just didn't have time to get everything I needed yesterday before the dr's appt. So we got the rest of our groceries and headed home and then had a late lunch of ham and cheese sandwiches.

~My nieces got dropped off early today, because they didn't go to school. They wer both not feeling well and their mom decided to keep them home.  So they were here at 2pm. Then at almost 3pm, my daughter got home from school. And at 3:15pm, hubby was home for a relaxing 3 day weekend. As soon as he got home, I ran back over to the school to get Nicholas' school supplies. While I was there, the teacher spoke to me and was actually very nice and offered some tips and even offered to give me worksheets if I ever needed any.

~After I got home, I cleaned the kitchen up in preparation for dinner. On the menu tonight was a homemade version of hamburger helper found at Hillbilly Housewifes (see links in right hand column), and some fresh green beans that we had bought and blanched and froze last week. And in the middle of dinner, my son lost one of his top front teeth. He's a snaggle tooth. I'll have to post a picture. He's too cute!

~After everyone was done with dinner, I went ahead and cleaned up the kitchen and loaded the dishwasher and started it. Then I headed into the living room and started a movie for the kids to watch, and sat down to do a little sewing, but after a little bit of that, decided to take a blogging break.

~After I get done here, I'm going to work on sewing this dress for my daughter and then start making plans for what I need to do tomorrow. Tomorrow will be a very busy day for me. My husband will be spending the most of the day working at the rent house and the evening watching his favorite thing...OU football! I have arranged for my kids to spend the day with my parents while I spend some time getting caught up on my housework that has been severely slacking this week, and prepare for our first week of homeschool. I also need to do some baking, some sewing, and possibly some more canning. Mostly I'll be waking up as early as I can and working from sun up til sun down because I just couldn't keep up this week. And I'm afraid that if I don't catch up tomorrow, I'll never be able to catch up with my new responsibilities with my son. I'll be spending a little time tonight tweaking my routine to fit in school and all my other responsibilities. So this was my day and my plan for tomorrow, Lord willing, ofcourse. I'll update you tomorrow night with my last day of the daily life chronicles of Sara...Well, g'night all! I pray your day was blessed beyond measure!

It is wonderful to get organized for the upcoming school year. My daugthers and I are venturing into sewing our dresses this year so hopefully I can learn by reading what you are doing. Have a wonderful weekend with your family!
