Tuesday-Free/Sewing Day

~I managed to get up on time this morning and even fixed my beloved some breakfast before he went to work. After he was out the door, I took the dog out, fixed my coffee, and sat down with my Bible for about 40 minutes.

~Then I got the kids breakfast ready..yogurt, toast, oj, and got them up. They ate, got dressed, my daughter got on the bus, and just as I was walking my son to school, the dilema I posted earlier happened. He started sobbing, begging me to take him home, which after a few minutes chatting with him, we came on home. I told him, he would do work at home...chores and homework that I printed out for him. He agreed and got to work.

~We did a some chores and some laundry, I printed off some math and grammer sheets for my son to work on and then at 11am we got ready for daddy to come home for lunch. I made some fresh tea and lunch for daddy, and then he gave us some money for us to go get some lunch out since we had to get out after he left anyways. I had to go get a friend's son from pre school because she was busy choosing the headstone for her mother's grave.....So after we got some lunch at Sonic, and picked him up, we headed home.

~I spent the afternoon working on a dress for my daughter and doing some more crocheting. At around 3:30pm, it was pure chaos in this house, I was taking care of six children! The ages were 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, and 2. Oh my goodness! At 4:30pm, my friend came and picked up her 4yo son. Then things calmed down a bit.

~My husband and I managed to have a little discussion about the situation with our son. He told me that he really wants him to finish out the school year, but if it doesn't get better then we'll talk about what to do next. Although, I don't want to have to send my son back to school, I will do what my husband says to do. I told him that I had prayed and asked God for some sort of sign that homeschooling was the direction we should go, and I told him that I felt that this could very well be the sign that I was looking for. He said it may be, but we need to be certain, and I know he's right. So that's that for now.

~I went ahead and gave my youngest a bath after she poured orange juice all down the front of her. Then I fixed dinner with the help of my middle daughter. We made...bbq chicken, homemade coleslaw, pineapple chunks, and homemade drop biscuits. It was yum! After cleaning up a bit in the kitchen and visiting with my sister in law and husband over dinner, I played with my kids for a while and then gave my middle daughter a bath. My kids rotate on bath nights. The girls are Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. And my son is Monday Wednesday, Friday. I gave them a bath on Sunday this week because they had spent the night at their nana's.

~I got the rest of the crew ready for bed and tucked them in at 8:30pm. Now I'm taking a blogging break, and when I'm done, I'll go finish loading the dishwasher, set the coffee pot, take a shower, and if it's early enough I may do some more sewing or crocheting before I take the dog out and head to bed. Or I may try and finish the book I'm reading...it's the 7th book of the Love Comes Softly Series. And that about sums up my day...Hope yours was blessed.
