Blessings From Home

I miss them already!

Well, my kids started school today, and boy is my heart aching. I took them both to school this morning, and held my tears in as I left them there....that is until I got into the car.

Now, I'm not going to say that I don't enjoy the quiet time I have since they are not here, but I assure you, I would rather have a month's worth of chaos with them here, than one day of quiet without them. I hear so many parents saying...Thank God, school is starting, I'm so tired of them (the kids) being home all the time, driving me crazy....Well then, what on earth did you have kids for?!? Children are a gift from God, that he has given us to care for, love, and teach. I think my husband truly knows how much I want to homeschool as he saw me sitting here last night fretting over everything...what if this or what if that happens, etc? I think God has given me this time to devote to Him so that I can be the wife and mother He wants me to be. So that's what I'll be doing. Spending my extra time in His Word, praying God's will for our lives. And maybe He's preparing me to be a homeschool mom. Until then I will wait for a sign from the Lord that homeschooling is truly the path we should take.

Well, the day is more than halfway over and it's almost time for me to get around to go get my kiddos! I can't wait to hear all about their day!!! I didn't have a lot on my to do list as I knew I would be busy with other things today. We had our WIC appt, and then we went and had lunch with a friend, and now we're just waiting around to go pick everyone up from school. Tomorrow my daughter will start riding the bus, something I probably wouldn't be comfortable with if I didn't know the bus driver helper...who is a girl who I go to church with. My son's school is actually just around the corner, so I walk him over. My youngest is really missing her brother and sister, she keeps coming up to me and asking where they're at. I'm going to start the toddler curriculum with her that I found over at the Brightly Beaming website. It'll give her and I something fun to do during the week. So anyways, today is a do what I have to do day, meaning, dishes, laundry, and cook dinner and that will be about it. Tomorrow, I have to do some shopping for birthday presents and groceries for the next week. So I hope all of you have had a great day and I'll post some more later!

Blessings,

Sara

Sorry you are missing your littles!

Maybe next year . . . . :)

I hope that God blesses you and keeps your children safe this year.

Blessings,
Ashley
