Blessings From Home

And we all fall down...

Well,  I did last night anyways. With this new pup, I've been having to get up at least a couple times a night to take her out. And I'm usually half asleep. Now, did I mention my house has lots of stairs? Well, it does. There is about 10 stairs up to my sons room, the only room up there. Then there is 3 stairs down into my den and 3 stairs down into my sewing/storage room. Well, at night time, I've been putting the pup in the sewing/storage room so that her whining won't wake the children. Then I set my alarm to wake me every couple of hours. Well, at about 3am or so, I got up to take her out and when I was heading back down in to the sewing/storage room to put her back to bed, somehow I slipped and fell down the stairs, and I mean hard. Luckily nothing was broken and I managed to hold onto the pup and keep her from getting hurt, but my body is aching today. My arm hit the corner of a bookshelf and scraped the whole inside of my forearm and is very bruised today. And I hit my tail bone, which by the way is backwards and gives me trouble already. It and my arm got the brunt of the fall. But alas, I am thankful, that nothing was broken and there was not a need to make a trip to the ER, since we don't have medical insurance right now. I can't imagine the bill we'd get. And I'm also thankful that my husband was half awake and heard me fall, because I think I might have just sat there crying all night. lol. But he came and picked me up and babied me a bit and helped me back to bed. Well, that was my night. I hope yours was a good one.
