Blessings From Home

How's it look?

Well, I worked all day on my den/all purpose room and I'm finally finished, well, mostly. The books have been gone through, the puzzles and games sorted, my sewing machine and desk moved in and the room rearrranged. All I really have left to do is go through all those boxes that are now behind the desk, which is going to take several days to sort and file. So I will be tackling that every Friday for about 15 minutes as part of my morning chores. But other than that, how does it look? You can see the before pictures in my previous post. I'm pretty proud of my work on this room today and have already got to do a bit of sewing. So here's the pictures.

I love my sewing desk, my husband bought it for my birthday several years ago. When not in use, I can sit my sewing machine on the shelf by where the chair is pushed in and shut the door and it looks like a nice buffet table, but more than likely it will stay about like this, cause I do have a lot sewing to do.

I found space for the keyboard and the chair for now, but the little chair will probably find it's way to the yard sale. The doors you see go to my laundry room.

There's the desk, file cabinet, and multi colored shelf. I cornered the desk, which really made the room look a little bit bigger. Yes those are the boxes, and even the basket is full of papers, I will spend 15 minutes today working on that.

And there you have it. My husband came home from work, and was wonderfully surprised. I told him that I hoped the hum of my sewing machine going didn't bother him and he said that it would not bother him at all because I'd be closer to him and he was always so proud of the things I make. Isn't that sweet? Well, I'm off to the kitchen to cook dinner. I pray that your day was a blessed one and that all my fellow declutterees are having a productive day~!

I am so excited, you are getting so much done. It looks great! Keep it up but remember to follow the decluttering rules :)
