I Have Seedlings

Please remember, this is my first time ever trying to grow anything besides house plants...lol. But today I went to check on my tomato plants I started from seeds and I finally have seedlings. They're sprouting up. Everyone has said how hard it is to grow them from seeds, so where do they have trouble...is it after you transplant? I'm hoping these will make it, but I'm prepared to buy ready made tomato plants. I planted lavender too, but no signs of life yet. Have a great evening!

I grew my first tomatoes from seed last year and it was fine. we had lovely juicy tomatoes most of the summer.
