Tuesday Thoughts

With the very little energy I have at the moment, I am doing the Flylady thing, and taking it 15 minutes at a time. I have been working all week at catching up on laundry and it seems as though I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I've also managed to get my dishwasher loaded and unloaded the last couple of days, a major feat for me. Instead of packing, I've been putting my efforts towards cleaning and decluttering. We will be having a yard sale on the 24th of this month and things will be a lot easier to deal with after we get all this clutter out of here. It will probably be at least 3 weeks before we can start moving so I decided to take one thing at a time, first organizing and decluttering, then garage sale, then packing and moving. Today I will be happy if I can...do at least 3 loads of laundry...unload and reload the dishwasher...finish straightening and decluttering the living room...and cleaning out the couch...and making the phone calls I've been putting off. Tonight at 6, my son has cub scouts...they're going on a nature hike at the park. I think we'll all go, it'll be fun. The rest of my week will be sorta busy, or busier than usual, I should say. Tomorrow is my husband and I 8th wedding anniversary. We won't be doing anything in particular, we might have dinner and a movie this weekend though. Thursday I have an appointment for my son for a follow up on his weight issue...(for those he don't know...I took my son to the dr a few weeks ago for the stomach flu and possible irritable bowel syndrome, and the doctor finally took an interest in his health issues I had been telling her about. My son is 6 1/2 and he weighs 36 lbs, he's weighed this for more than 2 1/2 years. They ran some tests, and we're awaiting the results. Prayers would be greatly appreciated). I'll let you all know how the appointment goes after Thursday. Well, hubby will be home soon for lunch, I hope you all have blessed day! Hugs!

Prayers coming your way, dear heart. Sounds like you're doing things a little bit at a time... slow and steady. That's always my pace too.

I hope the doctor figures out what's cooking with your little boy. What does he eat? Could he have some allergies of some sort? Maybe try going without wheat and dairy for awhile and see if his colon doesn't settle down.

I hope all goes well with the doctor on Thursday and that she has a diagnosis and a plan.
I hope also you get some more energy for yourself and find the job of moving home an easier task than expected.
