My little girl got on the bus

Since I won't be able to start homeschooling any time soon, my kids including my son in 1st grade, and my daughter in pre-k, will at least finish out the year in Public school. So, anyways, since my car has been acting up and gas costs and because my youngest is always ready for her nap about the time for Madelynn to go to school, I decided to put her on the bus, only after realizing I knew both the bus driver and the helper. So she got on her first bus today. I really hope and pray that she is okay with it. She sounded really excited about it, until the bus pulled up and then she started acting a little nervous. She should be home any time now, and I'm waiting anxiously to see what she thought. My son doesn't have to ride the bus because his school is right across the street from us. Oh what a day for a mom. It's so hard to see your babies take such big steps.

I hope your little girl was ok on the bus to school and that she got home safely. It's a real blessing to know those who will be with her on her journey. My 12 year old son gets a train and bus to school (both short journeys) and I worry about him My 9 year old daughter walks home (10 min) except when she has sports and I pick her up. Today I missed her as I went up the road and was panicking as I retraced my steps and there she was walking down the road. I don't know how I missed her but I was so thankful when I got her. At least on a bus with people you know, she'll be safe, they'll look out for her. We all worry about our children, there would be something wrong if we didn't.
