Blessings From Home

Monday at Home

Good afternoon all,

     I pray you are all having a blessed week! I have been keeping busy working away on the many, many things needing done around the home. I'm counting down the days until our little blessing makes his arrival, and also counting down until Christmas.

Saturday, the kids and I spent the day outside doing yard work and putting things away in preperation for colder weather. It was such a beautiful day and we didn't want to go in until it got too dark and chilly to stay out any longer. Sunday, we had church and a day of resting. And now we're back to the work week. I got lots of sewing and handwork done last week and will be sharing pictures later today or tomorrow. I'm continuing to add more to my list daily of craft projects and things needing to be made, but I'm realizing that I first need to take care of things around the home.

When I take care of things around the home first, I don't have that nagging feeling of work needing to be done, and I can sit and sew in peace. So here's what I've gotten done today along with what's left to be done....

~Quick clean throughout the house

~Laundry-towels, boy's sheets

~Zone work-I'll be working in the family room all this week

~Weekly home blessing-trash all out, sheets changed out(boy's only), wipe down all mirrors and doors, dust, sweep/mop, cull papers and mail, vacuum

~School with kids

~This week's sewing-finish purses for nieces, make 3 more sets of coasters, gather materials to make baby's diapers

~This week's handwork-finish crocheted baby blanket, gather materials to embroider tea towels for gifts and start on them as time permits

Tomorrow I have to go to the dentist, and afterwords we'll finish up school work and I get to spend most of the day working on projects and sewing, and hopefully unburying my sewing desk. So I'm off to finish up the things on my list and hopefully fit in a few moments at the sewing machine. I'll post pictures as soon as I finish up a couple more things. Have a blessed Monday!
