How to Vacation and still be Frugal:

Our family is going on a cruise this year and I'm looking for was of being frugal and thrifty.  I hope to find some to keep here.

1.  Know what we're going to do on each island.

2.  Have money set aside for tipping.

3.  Keep a budget.

More to come!

A Simple Housewife's Devotion

HOUSEWIFE'S PRAYER

Thank you dear Lord for things I must do.

Tasks to complete that are never quite through.

Thank you for laundry that piles up so fast.

For the tub I just cleaned, though I know it won't last.

Thanks for the toys that litter my floor.

For shoes that are mud-caked and sit by the door.

Thank you for fingerprints on freshly cleaned glass.

Thanks for the carpet, now covered with grass.

These things in my life just prove that I'm blessed;

God gave me a family, I can live with the mess.

A Wife's Rules to live by:

"A Woman's Rules to live by - Rules for the wife at home" - which I need......

1.  Overlook husband's faults, and instead focus on his better side.
2. Never nag, or try to manipulate your husband into doing things your way.
3. Trust God, and trust your husband. Pray for him daily.
4. God first, husband second, children third, house fourth, other ministries fifth.
5. Submit to yoru husband's authority, and allow errors in his judgement.
6. Allow your husband to provide for the family, and appreciate the money he brings in, and the provisions he provides for his family, no matter how little or how much.
7. Spend your husband's hard earned money wisely, and be frugal. Never sneak expenses behind his back.
8. Do not wound his masculine pride. Instead, compliment him on his manly accomplishments, and show your appreciation of him every day.
9. A modest, feminine appearance is important.  As is feminine manner, nature, softness, gentleness, and a spirit of sweet submission and dependency on the husband.
10. You have a God-given career that can bless you abundantly. That career is in the home.
11. Cook delicious healthy meals and keep the home clean.
12.  Your duty is to be a "homemaker", hence, your job is to make your house a home.
13.  Above all, the wife at home is to exude an attitude of happiness and joy. Rejoice in the Lord for the wonderful family He has provided for you, and never take your family for granted.

Welcome to my new blog!

Hi everyone! I've started from scratch with my blogging endeavors.  I've got so much more to say and to post.  Hopefully, I've learned alot since blogging, which started in Nov. 2008.  I'm devoting my blog to Christ and Christ alone.  For everything He's done and for all He's going to do in my life.

to God be the glory,

Raquelle

About Me

I'm a houswife, mother and sunday school teacher giving all the glory to my Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ. I have been married to my Boaz for 7 years now and have 2 beautiful olive branches. We are praying for our quiver to be full and to be able to bloom where we are planted. Pray with me and I'll pray for you and we'll both watch God change things! Prayer works. Be Blessed.
These are the Chronicles of me. A wife learning how to be submissive and gracious. God is Holy and therefore I must be holy.

To God be the Glory for the great and marvelous things He's doing in my life. When I speak, or write I want to do it all to the glory of my risen Saviour and King. He's calling me to a higher place in Him and I pray this blog gives Him all the glory, honor and praise due His name.
