Small Town Living magazine

Posted in Everyday Happenings

Take a few minutes to check out Small Town Living, a wonderful on-line magazine. It's put out by a fellow farmgirl, Tina Wilson, and her husband Paul who live on the panhandle of Florida.

The current issue (June/July) includes articles on subjects such as miniature cattle, using rain barrels, lemonade landscaping, and herbwalking. It's a great magazine I'm sure you will enjoy. Be sure to look back at the past issues too. The April/May issue had some great articles about backyard poultry, composting and farm dogs. Feb/March includes informative articles about cold frames & hot houses,  how to succeed at a Farmer's Market, and something we all would probably love...planting a chocolate garden.

Check it out....You'll be glad you did.

Thank you for commenting on my blog. I was reading the "National Geographic Desk Reference to Nature's Medicine" I saw that it said Some studies shows that borage leaves contain small amounts of alkaloids that are known to cause liver damage as well as liver cancer. It also saids that Borage oil contains none of these alkaloids and the flowers contains only a trace amounts. The book also saids "Nevertheless, herbalists do not recommend consumption of borage leaves or preparations made from leaves such as herbal teas."

Since I wrote the blog about Borage I would Never suggest anything that would hurt anyone. Please do more research yourself.

Blessings,

Ma
