Project: My Pictorial Garden Journal

Posted in Country Crafts and Projects

Last Friday, I took a scrapbooking class at the store
where my oldest daughter works. What a delightfully
fun time I had!! I haven't done anything like this for
many years (!) and it was so nice to have some free
time for myself and get a wonderful little journal made
as well. I would have never been able to get this done
in one night if I had tried to do something like this at
home. Right now it only has 7 pages, but I am already beginning to add to it. It's not entirely finished yet
because I need to add the journaling to each page.
But, here are photos of the what I got accomplished
at the class.

~~Anne

This is the cover of the journal

Page One.
The blank space is for journaling.

This last page can be used for recording garden tips, journaling, a poem, etc. I haven't decided what I what do do yet.

A happy Friday morning to you kindred sister. What a lovely scrapbook. I keep meaning to try my hand at this craft...but it is in my to do pile with so many other things :)
Such pretty photos to. To look over your whole garden must be a sight to see. You should also post a pic of your green thumb :)
God bless,
Shari

With all the scrapbooking I have done in the past years, I have not ever made a book or journal..I think this is absolutely beautiful! I am glad you had a great time at the class and pray you'll be able to attend more of them..
Love,
Lynne

That is a GORGEOUS little book! You are an excellent photographer-which makes it that much more fabulous!

I have toyed with the idea of making a garden book so that I remember things TO DO and NOT to do (I am a beginner!) and especially-WHEN to do them (plant bulbs, start seeds, etc.)

You did a FABULOUS job! :-)

I love scrapbooking but the last time I had the chance was almost 6 years ago after my son was born. I'm feeling inspired to begin again. Your pictures are just lovely. I hope you enjoy using your journal, it will be a nice keepsake. Ann'Re

love your pictures and layouts - simple yet beautiful. Could you give some instruction on how you put it together??
Thank you for the inspiration!
