adventures with foals

From left to right: Devon (three week-old grey 50%Shire / 25% Paint / 25% Percheron colt), Cheyanne (grey/white pinto-marked 50% Percheron / 50% Paint mare), Destiny (bay Shire mare), and Bella (six week-old bay Shire filly).

Devon: "What're those beeping sounds you're making? Is that black thing in your hand going to eat me?" I love his uneven blaze and his "eyeshadow" as my mother calls it.

Bella, fascinated by the fact that my mother is kneeling on the other side of the fence and is therefore shorter than she is.

Bella again. She's becoming quite a bold little rogue, and I love her.
Stay tuned for a post entailing the big sister / older brother adventures!
