7th Heaven in Texas

• Friday, April 6, 2007 - Hello, Mr. Gore...it's me....i have reconsidered...........

I have always felt that the whole "global warming" issue had merit. But as the  years and seasons keep scooting by.......well, sign me up Mr. Gore.....I'm with you 100%.     The latest "proof" at least in my opinion and in my back yard is........

Last year I hosted our family Easter Dinner at my home.  The temperature hit 100  degrees........TOTALLY not normal for north central Texas in April.....jump ahead to tonight....it is supposed to be 32 degrees and is SNOWING  just north of us.   Granted.....Texas, especially north central Texas is known for its "screwy" weather.....but I was born and raised here and  let me tell you ladies and gentlemen.....'THINGS THEY ARE A CHANGIN"......i do not know how accurate Mr. Gore and his cohorts can be about just how fast or where and how things will be......but...........yep, i think they may be way ahead of the rest of us............

so, if you are driving through north texas in the next couple of years and see an ark sized floaty thing sitting in someone's yard....drop in for some lemonade and say howdy......(just kidding.......about the floaty thing.....but you are welcome to stop by and say howdy anytime)

Hello from another north central Texas blogger! I can't believe we're expecting snow on Easter. Crazy weather!

Have a blessed Easter (and stay warm!),

I believe tonights forecast when I see it happen. Texas has a way of outsmarting the weather folks. I did prepare 'just in case". Brought in my bedding plants, put the heat lamp back on the chicks and coverd as much of my garden as I could.

Our weather up here in Indiana is pretty off kilter too!
I am keeping a 'garden' journal and will be able to look back in a few years and see if there is a pattern to all of this!! I personally think Al Gore is an idiot, so I don't buy into his garbage.........but I trust God has everything under control!!

The worst part of it is that here in N. Mississippi, last week it was in the 80's. Last night and tonight it is supposed to get down in the 30's. I am just so glad that I resisted the urge to set out my garden seedlings. I just thought that it is not going to get down to freezing again after being 85* outside.
Blessings,
Trixi
