Getting My House in Order!!!!!!!!!!

I have been doing alot of decluttering, cleaning, sorting through, organizing, and just plain ole re-evaluating my life........ ......... .........
For those of you that don't know, my mom was brutally killed in Nov. 2006. Of course I was deeply distraught over this.......but Satan has kept a very tight grip on that sadness turning it into s deep depression to where I could not focus on or get things down around my home as I should. Many close friends have told me that I am being to hard on myself....maybe I am but all I know is that I wanted my JOY back. Then it hit me.......... ...."Mom would want me to be happy, and to have my house as I want it to be." So a couple weeks ago I just got up and got to it! It have been a 2 week process but I have made substantial ground. I still have lots to do, finetuning basically. But I am much happier and do not feel as sad and depressed and not having to walk around boxes and boxes of stuff. (my mom had alot of stuff in her home, brand new things and we only have a closet in each of the 2 bdrms...no storage at all here) I still have the 2 bdrms to get through yet.
Well besides the "house"..... ......their is my Faith, my walk with the Lord. He and I have been getting closer then ever over these past few weeks. He heard my cry for help.....my cry to lift Satan off my shoulders and literally get my house in order! My physical "house" and my spiritul house. :-) I am back into my Ladies Thurs. morning Bible Study, and getting back to my daily "First thing in the morning" devotions and prayer list.
The Lord has been making it very clear to me that Sunday's are for a day of worship, rest and family...... ......FIRST AND FOREMOST!! If you can not get to church on Sunday or live to far out/away from a church....you can still Home Church with your family. We have missed many Sundays this winter do to weather conditions. That's one of the drawbacks to living out here in the sticks. :-) Pioneers more times then not, lived no where near a church or even a school and had to make do at HOME.
I want to invite all of you to take a good look into your own homes, both physical and spiritual and see if you are in deed where the Lord wants you to be. Is your house in order? I want to challange you to all to get up earlier, make that cup of coffee or tea and do some devotional reading time as well create a daily prayer list. You will find that your day goes so much better and you get so much more accomplished! :-)
