We have been given the final approval for our mortgage and will be closing on our new house on Thursday the 28th!! Hallelujah, Praise the Lord!!!!

This is the first time in my entire life that I will have my own home. All growing up, we lived in rental apartments or houses. I can't describe how incredibly thrilled I am...what a magnificent answer to prayer!

Once we are settled into our new home, I'll be able to spend more time on my blog. I have so many topics I'd like to cover and many more "how-to's" to write. I'm really looking foward to it!

Congratulations to you!!! How wonderful!!! It feels completely different living in your own home, knowing you can rip out a wall or paint and not have to ask someone first. LOL And then, for us, there was Christmas. My hubby was so excited when we first got married, that he had his OWN tree. LOL He had never had a tree of his own, just the family tree. So he had to pick it out and help decorate and was so excited about a tree!! LOL Not me, I was excited about all the blank walls of canvas for my decorating to hang on!! It took me a week or two to determine where everything would go, and then, finally, it felt like home.....not a house....but home.

I am so exicited for you!!! We want to see pics of the new place!

I know exactly how you feel as two years ago we were able to purchase our very first home and there's been nothing like it.

We too had always been renters and never even thought it possible that we would own our own home, but we trusted in Him, and He is always faithful!
