Shalom all, ok so trying to both save money and rid my life of toxins. Food has become so expensive and of course I buy all organic so that brings up my bill. August is almost here and I can start some seeds in what little ground I have and containers. This has been an exceptional hot summer in the California desert. So I was washing my hair with baking soda and rinsing with ACV and water, however I have found my very long hair needs more moisture or it is very tangly. I also want simplicity not long hours of recipes. so I have gone to taking some organic shampoo mixing with baking soda and honey thus extending the life of the shampoo. My hair feels really nice. Need to continue to tweek my recipe but this is approximates: 4oz. Organic shampoo 2 T honey 4oz. baking soda (or until desired consistencey) stir and poor into old shampoo bottle shake well before using. once a month a saturate my hair in coconut oil, leave on over night and then wash 2-3 times and condition as normal. I am using baking soda and vinegar for cleaning. I am also extending my nontoxic laundry soap with baking soda, 1oz soap and 1/2- 1 C baking soda depending on how dirty the clothing. for a great antibacterial spray for tough germs. mix 16 oz. water 15 drops tessential oil of thyme 15 drops essential oil of lavender shake well before each use. thyme is said to kill HIV, Staph, TB, Salmonella and much more, in fact one company actualy has a product that is approved for hospital use for cleaning up body fluid spills. Lavender is also a great antibacterial. Blessings and more on this subject later, Tamra Leave a Comment { Last Page } { Page 1 of 6 } { Next Page } |
