ok so it was around Passover that my car broke down. I decided not to buy a new one. why? Well one... I retired my car in cali and got $1000 for it. Israel money. Plus the price of gas. but it is not as much the price as the support of terrorism every time you purchase gas. So I opted to bus it and now I just bought a bike last week. My son and I went on a long ride, a trial run to Synagogue. didn't quite make it but we could. then his bike pedal went haywire and I have a flat. need a new tube. So far not working well, however we will get it figured out and be off again on our new bike adventures. Of course it's only been like 118 here so we have to go in am or eve and lots of water. I kinda like not having a car. wish I had a horse and buggy. But I don' t think it would be appreciated around here.

dairy goats

As I said before I am in a mobile home park now...so homesteading is difficult...however my brother is up on a bit of property in the high desert about 30 minutes from me. So he wants to plant and we are discussing getting him a dairy goat, I reckon 2 would be better. Does anyone have any advice on purchasing a couple of inexpensive dairy goats in Southern California. Money is an issue so I need to find some discounts without getting ill goats. This will be great as far as homeschooling for my son and will give my brother more to keep him busy also. I owned goats years ago, we purchased in chino, however this area where they sale all the animals, most do not speak english so it makes it difficult to know the history of the animal. any suggestions on farms or other homeschoolers who would sell us 1 or 2 cuties would be great.

Mayo

Shabbat Shalom,

Heehee, I made homemade mayo today. I found that the organic olive oil I used is a realy flavorful oil and perhaps is not the right one for mayonaise, but my 11 year old still ate it so Halleluyah! I am home tonight on shabbat as opposed to going to erev shabbat service because my car died. Now this broke single mom must find a way to get a new car. But I truly feel the Lord will handle it. I believe He was possibly trying to slow me down because My son and I both were exhausted. Passover(before and after) is a very busy time of year for us, we are on the damce team and we go to many churches to share the Passover story with them. Fun but exhausting and my body has not been cooperating. So this is why I have not posted anymore of my story. But what a blessing to just rest in the Lord. Funny how when we won't sit and rest in Him , He makes a way for us to. I am so blessed in Adonai! So this is all I have to say tonight because I am going to listen to Uri Harels Secrets of
the Hebrew Bible and then take a nice dead sea salt bath and go to bed. I pray blessings on anyone reading this.

What Does Homesteading have To Do With It?

Walking as a woman of God means learning how to be a housewife and mother, how to care for a mate, children, and home. Many woman raised in todays society have never been taught how to even cook or care for a home, just how to find a career and support yourself. It is important that we as parents start teaching how girls how to be women and boys how to be men. We each were given precious role from Adonai...Men as leaders, husbands, fathers...woman as , wives, mothers and helpmeet. This includes learning how to do these things ourselves. Huh? but you are a single mom, yes and all the better time for me to learn how to truly be all of these, when I only have to please the Lord. I love all things natural, organic, herbal, healthy, gardening, and the country etc. The funny thing is I just moved into a mobile home park, heehee, it is my homestead and it is a blessing for the time I will be here.

   Remember in the beginning when Adonai dealt out all the curses for disobedience to Adam and Eve and the serpent.

Man's curse: the ground would be cursed and man would have to toil all the days of his life.

Womans curse:Pain in childbearing, and to desire your husband and be ruled by him.

Why are women bearing the double curse? Why are women forced to go out of the home and work full time. Yes a virtuous woman is to be industrious to bring in some money if needed but her first role is to her family. Making our houses Homes is what we women all need to start focusing on. Celebrating our role as women and mothers. It is a beautiful thing. Perhaps we should start telling men, when you start bearing children I will work fulltime (smile).

Becoming and Staying a Single mom of Virtue

The story of how I got to the place where I am at today is long and at times not real pretty. Yet I pray it will encourage and bless all women, mothers, single and married, and those who support them. I am a single mom of 2 beautiful children, one 17 y/o girl who has graduated from homeschool and flown the coop. One 11 y/o son who is a wonderful young man of God. My life is for The Lord first and my children to follow. I walk a Torah obedient lifestyle as a believer in Yeshua(Jesus). Single moms have many differant reasons why we have no mate, some are divorced, abandoned, widows or never married. We are often shunned and looked down upon in and out of the Lord's house. This is not God's way. If you are a single mom who is now walking in righteousness with the Lord, there is no reason to be ashamed. Yeshua(Jesus) loves you! You can become and stay a single mom of Virtue, your worth is above that of rubies and jewels to the Lord. If you are not walking in righteousness I pray the Lord (perhaps with help of my stories) this blog will help guide you to this preciuos place. remember that the Lord is: 

(Psa 68:5)5 Father of the fatherless, And Right-ruler of widows, Is Elohim in His set-apart dwelling.

We are His precious bride and are to walk out our life for Him. He is our husband

2 corinthians11:2 For I am jealous for you with a jealousy according to Elohim. For I gave you in marriage to one husband, to present you as an innocent maiden to Messiah

I have learned as a single mom I can be a homemaker, and homeschooler, I can remain pure while walking in the Torah(law) of God in all my ways. I know there are many trials and struggles as single moms, yet we must stand through it all and teach our precious children diligently to live according to the Word. My desire is to live out all of the Word of God in every area of my life.  A Torah lifestyle to me is a precious gift of walking as a family(all believers) in holiness and righteousness to the Lord. This is a natural lifestyle that does go against so much of the world. However we must walk through that narrow gate to get into the prescence of the King!

May you all be blessed in your walk along this path of becoming a priceless Jewel for Adonai!
