Thank you for stopping in. Visitors are always welcome here. I suppose I should tell you that I do not live on a farm, but we live in the country and have a small garden. Our property is just under an acre and is shaped like a slice of pizza. Around a third is wooded, there is a creek (mostly runoff) on the side and passes through in the woods. Typical of PA, there are large, old pines, along with younger ones that we planted. Our house is BLUESTONE, and was built in 1913. The previous owners had a furnace fire in the '80s and any historic features were destroyed. Our choice of decor is rustic, but not necessarily country. The living room always makes me think of the beach. We are a Pastor's family, and homeschool. It hit me earlier that I have been schooling for over 14 yrs. now. Compared to other homeschool families that is nothing, but to me, it seems long, but at the same time short. We garden...just a little one. Last yr. something killed our squash, and it wasn't just us. Everyone in this area, for 40+miles were disappointed with their meager harvest. All we got were blossoms, baby squash that shriveled in a few days...nothing could be eaten. Snap peas were a disaster. They shells were like eating leather...what did we do wrong?? Anyhow, I will share more of my ongoing projects, mostly sewing, another day. I hope you'll stop back soon. Til we meet again! Leave a Comment { Last Page } { Page 15 of 15 } { Next Page } |
