WHEN IT RAINS IT POURS.

Last night (6-9) Scott & I worked with Uplift - they've gone out for the last 18 years feeding the homeless in various places - usually near wooded areas. They put a hot meal in the van & other things - socks, T.P., OTC meds, shirts, canned goods, etc. It's very organized & well run. It's a whole different world out there for those homeless people. My husband loves doing this sort of thing - what I'd like to do is be a cook - prepare the food at home & then take it & put it in their containers to take out to the people. I also love to thrift store shop, so that will be fun finding donations.

Today I went & saw my m-i-l at the hospital - she had run a red light & got hit & fractured her pelvis & was in the hospital & today she was moved to a nearby care facility that is really nice. Her car was totaled & hopefully at 84 she won't get another one. hope - hope.

I have the cats getting used to being outside - such beautiful weather to behold! I love having the windows open and hearing the birds.
